Want to know what the big deal is about invasive species?

You’ve come to the right place! Welcome to Level 1 of the Community Science eLearning Course where you’ll embark on an engaging journey of exploration about invasive species. Discover why you should care; understand how you can make a difference and be inspired to join a community of people dedicated to protecting BC’s biodiversity.

Though the three levels of the Community Science eLearning Course were designed to incrementally build upon your knowledge base, you can pick and choose which one you take first. Starting here on level one makes a whole lot of sense. Each level is full of information you don't want to miss out on.

The objectives of Level 1: Introduction to Invasive Species, are to:

Understand why people are invested in preventing the spread of invasive species
Recognize the importance of responsible practices
Know how behaviour change actions help

You can stop and return to your spot if necessary and you can return to the course at any time if you want to review or complete a section.
